Little Ashdown bed and breakfast holiday cottage is located in Burmarsh, Romney Marsh, near Dungeness in Kent. Little Ashdown is a self catering or short break holiday accommodation cottage.

Little Ashdown is a recently converted cottage and an ideal retreat for two. It is set on the beautiful Romney Marsh and has extensive views all around, If you look out of the leaded light windows of the lounge across open fields you can watch the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway train puffing across the fields only 400 metres away, beyond that another short distance is the Dymchurch sea wall with its extensive views across the English Channel.

Little Ashdown is a lovely little cottage comprising an entrance hall leading into the lounge off of which is the very romantic raised bed area. A short passage from the entrance hall then leads you to the well-equipped kitchen and then through into the restful dining room. There is adequate heating for all year visiting.

All rooms have been decorated to a high standard and have many little extras which previous guests have all loved. The house is fully heated and each bedroom has radiators with individual thermostatically controlled regulators.

For guests that need additional storage for cycles we have an outside store which is locked at night. The cottage has a wealth of exposed beams and is ideal for just getting away from it all and unwinding and having time to yourselves. For the more energetic visitor there are walks from the cottage which lead all over the Romney Marsh where you can explore the ancient Churches or seek the abundant wildlife for which the Romney Marsh is famous.

There are well-known pubs at either end of Donkey Street - one specializing in real ales and beers and the other known for its fine home-cooked meals and both hostelries are within staggering distance of the Cottage!
